I asked this girl 3 months ago or maybe even more on IG for her number. She said she didn’t want it to be awkward between her and my ex (they’re friends). I didn’t give a shit. Now I saw her at a club last night with one of her friends and talked them for 15 minutes and asked her for her # when she was leaving. I didn’t care and backed myself.

I said what’s your number and she was like oh I have to go. I got rejected pretty much. What I’m concerned is with if that gets back to my ex and all of her friends + some people who hate me. It doesn’t show high anything with this situation. How do I deal with potential shit talking and blow back after this if she tells people?
