So I messaged this girl and she was really interested in me from the start. We wrote a couple messages and I told her we should go for a beer in the near future. I didn't setup a date directly because I was dating another chick and wanted to get slowly back into the dating game (yeah, I know, should've sealed the deal earlier and just give it a try). She agreed and told me to get back to her as soon as I got time for this. Fast forward to today: I left her on read for one week and just directly told her today that we should go for a drink this Friday and asked if she's available. Unfortunately she will leave for vacation for 2 or 3 weeks, so I have to setup the date for the time afterwards.

How do I handle this now? Normally I would ask her to give me her number and would inform her about the logistics on WhatsApp, maybe adding some chitchat to build comfort beforehand, but 2 or 3 weeks is way too long for this. I don't want to get to know her through messaging which could potentially happen because, you know, most girls love this writing stuff. So how do I set this up to nearly seal the deal and don't chitchat too much? Any ideas?
