a girl I'm seeing had her cat die while she was away on a vacation and she's really broken up about it, obviously. She's not back in town yet, and I'm not sure how to handle it. She's a great person who I genuinely like and I want to comfort her, but I also don't want to overdo it and move into 'boyfriend' status because I feel sorry for her. I know I sound like a dick. any advice?
