I’m in a situation where for the last year of university I can either book back in a student accommodation costing roughly £120 a week including bills, or stay with an OLTR who genuinely wants me to live with her.

Our finances will not be mixed at all, it will be completely her apartment. I haven’t told her but I would definitely contribute to my food and the bills but she doesn’t even expect me to do this, she’s very much like a sugar momma who has paid thousands for me so far. I feel like living with her might boast my life up, I’d be able to afford a car for the first time in this city whereas in the student accommodation I wouldn’t. Every single day I get food cooked for me or she would order expensive takeaways which makes life so easy.

The total cost of living in this city always ends up near £10,000 with roughly half as rent and the other half as expenses such as food and nights out etc. Staying with the OLTR would reduce this cost to at least half which is quite a big jump.

I very much believe that staying with the OLTR has potential to ruin her attraction for me due to very reduced dread game, seeing each other 24/7 but honestly if worse comes to worse, a few months in she wants me out of the apartment or she starts fucking other guys (probably already is but I’m fucking other girls and she knows it) I can then still book a shortened length student accommodation or go home having saved a few thousand £.
