What you're looking for is not books, but stories, especially parables. Mythology, ancient phylosophy, religion (especially buddhist and from the bible), psychology, history etc. Also quotes and quick facts.

Women are practical and can't talk in abstract, and they filter everything through their subjective emotions and feelings. Stories express just that.

When discussing something, for example her not knowing what to do next in her life, instead of going on about living in the moment or creating a plan, talk about how we all have an neverending thrist for adventure, but we are also paralysied by fear of the unknown. Say 'a buddhist monk was walking through a deep forest one day and his novice apprentace asked him yada yada somehting to make a related point'. Then talk about how the greeks transformed this inner conflict into Medusa, cutting off her head and turning people to stone, then give a quote from Voltaire like 'man is free at the moment he wishes to be'. Afterwards go back to how the buddhists see life as suffering but figured out that balance (yin yang yo-yo) is the key to get to that happy place, and end with something funny from Mark Twain like 'The only reason why God created man is because he was disappointed with the monkey.' Oh, yeah, and you can make shit up. The goal is to be interesting and enertaining.

You could install any free software programs that can help you recommend words to replace the words you are using in a sentence

All books. It all helps.

On another note it’s not usually about what you say, it’s how you say it.

Situationally it can be slightly beneficial.
