Is my friend lying?

I'll try to make it efficient.

Had a job, there is a girl coworker.

Playfully flirt with her and she does back. I don't do anything because I hadn't had a job in a while and I was trying to get back on my feet.

I like this girl but mostly ignore her after deciding I can't maintain any sort of relationship at the time and really need to get myself stable.

She randomly brings up her boyfriend after months of knowing her. I knew I had missed my chance by that point, and already accepted it

Before she told me that, I felt like she had a bf and was trying to get me as a replacement. (I am told I am handsome, I am just an autist, and I am a couple years older than this girl)

Shortly after that I meet up with old group of friends from a couple years back.

One of them says he is out of a job, I get him hired at my work.

I'm sure you see where it's going.

Basically she acts like I am invisible, and flirts with my friend. I tell him to go for it. I knew that I couldn't maintain a relationship with a girl at the time because I was afraid of getting overly attached, I basically have oneitis to this day over her.

Friend tells me he won't hook up with her because she has bf.

I start talking to her to see how much AWALT. She only responds by bringing up my friend.

(Example: I'd ask her a question, she'd respond "ask friend's name")

I ignore the attitude and don't talk to her, then she starts acting nice and open. I'm not sure if it was a shit test, her way of saying they hooked up or just her saying she prefers him. So I don't engage at all.

I leave job, shortly after so does the girl. She moves to a location next to where I live. (somewhere me and her had talked about before, she knew this place is somewhere I frequented, or she thought.)

My friend tells me about her leaving since I didn't keep in contact with anyone else. I tease him and tell him now is the time to get with her.

He acts awkward and says he never did, she has a bf and he never talked to her outside of work.

But he briefly says how he needs to get the work app to keep in contact in the group chat them and a couple others were in.

I told him to invite her over, he just said no she would think my place is too dirty.

He doesn't say much else and avoids talking about her.

I know she is a ho but based on my circumstances I developed hard oneitis. I really wouldn't be upset about them hooking up, but my friend potentially lying to me really hurts. Especially since I got him hired. I am not sure if he is or not. It just makes me feel like an ass.

Now that friend and I don't talk, he is back with his old gf and he is always with her. We really never did talk much after he got hired, I just wanted to get him a job like I would for any old friend.

I saw this coming at the time but I didn't think my old friend would keep me out of the loop and condescend me.

We were good buddies before, and we even joked about how we would bang this girl.

He told me he didn't to this day, and he said I should if I like her.

I don't want to have such hard oneitis, but I was starting to stabilize my life and I am letting this get in the way.

Any advice would be appreciated. I want to move on because I know I can get much better girls and people in my life, the steps to get there are hard right now.
