I'm bipolar (M). Many meds they put us on completely kill our sex drive (something to think about). We're also largely damaged goods. Manic episodes are very traumatic and depression is well.. depression. Many people with bipolar go on a sex binge while manic too.

With that being said, many people find stability with meds. She's probably not a good prospect for an LTR but fucking her shouldn't be an issue. If she becomes suicidal jump ship.

Yes, that 's what she wants you to think. They are predictable in a way that they are unpredictable. I once had one as a girlfriend for over a year and it started out as too good to be true. Slowly over time her behaviour changed, she constantly tested my limits.

They will fuck up your mental well being.

Like “bipolar” girl or actually bipolar? A lot of people throw that around they phrase but they aren’t actually bipolar.

She can have the type of biopolar where her moods are stable but her energy levels go up and down. For a week she's really energetic and for the other she's tired. I see it as a yellow flag.

Huge red flag. Bipolar people are truly crazy. Some do well if take their meds, but you would be in for a wild ride.

Is she 'self diagnosed' or is she actually diagnosed?

The manic episodes are pretty bad, and generally get worse with age. My crazy ex, who is now diagnosed, has gone from stealthing it well enough for it to just be AWALT in high school to thirty plus years later having explosive bouts where she's assaulting people and threatening to go on shooting sprees. If she isn't on drugs, she should be.

Based on dealing with other actual bipolar people, she's gonna chalk up a lot of actual AWALT behavior to 'bipolar.' Branch swings, promiscuity, and cheating come to mind.
