This guy used to text/call first to meetup but after declining several times in a row he stopped altogether which I understand.

However some other people will very rarely hit me up for something first, but when I ask to meetup they will meetup. And when I see them in person they seem very happy to see me.

At what point is me texting first chasing? They will meetup if I text them first but I dont get as many texts to meet as I would like.
