Why is this question posted in askTRP?

Avoid physical fights. Once you're out of mommys house and no longer a child fights have almost all negative consequences. You'll get hurt, or killed. You'll be arrested and face court fees and have a record. At the very minimum youll never feel comfortable going to that bar again.

There are no positives to fighting. Fighting is an absolute last resort. Ever seen men fight over women? Dude ever heard of Helen of Troy? (granted it was just an excuse to attack, but still).

I hope you realize that carrying a concealed weapon requires restraint and a huge sense of responsibility. From experience being a stupid fucking kid, carrying a gun is a magnet for other guns, and there are 0 winners in a gunfight.

Stay away from people who like to start fights. There is always a bigger fish and one day you will get killed. My old man had a friend that would start fights with people at the drop of a dime. Bumped into a guy in a crosswalk and squared up. Guy pulled a pistol and shot him in the face and walked away. Never got caught. Don't be that fucking guy.

Had a buddy get jumped by 3 dudes at a bar. He should have left, but he kept talking shit throughout the night. When he went to leave, they grabbed him and threw him in the back of a truck and proceeded to beat the fuck out him. Bad. Real bad. In his mugshot(wait for it), I could barely tell it was him. Anyway, he pulled a knife when it became obvious they weren't going to stop. He slashed. He gutted one of them.

He got 25 to life.

I couldn't believe it, but there you have it. He wasn't the aggressor, but it didn't matter. Prior arrests, the other guy was connected, I don't know why he received such a sentence. But he did.

Always walk away if at all possible.

Fought a fat kid once. I learned my lesson the hard way. Doesn't matter if you're fat and outta shape. More mass = more power. I was a skinny bitch so I literally bounced off him and flew on my back. And then he sat on my neck and nearly choked me out.

Learn to fight but don't fight unless it's absolutely necessary. NEVER fight over a woman they have difficulty with the truth. There are plenty of guys doing time for beating or killing another man because a woman said she had been abused. Only to find out she lied. Doesn't matter those guys committed crimes over what she said. So one guy is disfigured or dead the other one is in jail and now she's sleeping with her new savoir. And she doesn't feel any guilt at all. If you fight with your hands that's one thing. If you pull a weapon that's a whole different legal charge. And if you pull a weapon and hesitate to use it you may find it taken away and used on you. A weapon gives your opponent the right to use deadly force.
