Especially when going after American women.
I have been going through this sub and reading threads on height and looks and it seems like race finds its way even into those conversations. People seem to associate being asian, arab/middle eastern, pakistani, or indian as something that is as bad as being short, ugly, and other negative traits. For some reason, being those ethnic groups seems to get thrown into the same negative box as being short, ugly, bald, fat, and other stuff.
Now I am going to disagree and here is why.
Say you have a guy who happens to be Arab, if he has above average looks, game, and a decent salary then he can get hot girls of his own race, girls of other minority groups, and not to mention foreign white girls. The only situation where I can see his race being a hindrance is if he is going after attractive white girls who are American because they care about race a lot (why do they do that? guess that's a topic for another discussion).
But if you have a guy who is short or ugly, he is going to be universally unattractive to women of almost all ethnic groups.
I wanted to hear TRP's take on this because it seems like at least in the United States, being a part of an ethnic group that is seen in a negative light is as big of a knock on your SMV as being short or ugly. IMO, I would think that a good looking asian, arab, or indian guy might even get a boost to his SMV as a good looking white guy because he is that much more unique (since good looking white guys are dime dozen and you rarely see good looking ethnic men because most of them are short and fat immigrants who don't care for their looks).
