I just updated my Hinge profile to say I was looking for someone old fashioned like me who doesn’t want to rush into sex. The truth is, I am old fashioned and I do like to wait a little bit but I’m currently doing nofap in order to recover from the ED I gave myself through years of heavy porn addiction. I’ve been on nofap since March but just found out the hard way last week that I still have it, so don’t want to do anything below the waist for another couple of months.

My question: does saying I want to hold off on sex in my profile make me look lame/beta/etc? Pros and cons? I’d like to have a relationship because the little dating I’ve done in the past few weeks (for the first time in over a decade) has been so much better emotionally than all the porn I’ve looked at. But I can’t do the physical side yet.
