I know in high school and college you had the popular crowds (in college it was greek life) where you had the cool and usually attractive guys and a lot of hot girls. In high school it was about being the most popular kid and in college you usually rushed and got a bid for a well liked fraternity.

Now as a post-grad, I am wondering, are there things like this in the real world? Because I know that being a part of these crowds has to help you get hot girls. Now obviously you have the pro athletes and hollywood but I am talking on a somewhat smaller and more achievable scale.

As a guy who didn't get a chance to rush a fraternity back in college and went to a pretty shitty high school, I would like to be a part of such a crowd just to see how it is like to belong to a popular type of crowd full of hot girls and cool guys.
