I remember when I first found mgtow, it was a few months after a painful break up. For over a year I worked on improving myself. Put on a substantial amount of muscle, educated myself on many things I was ignorant about, picked up new hobbies and made a lot of new friends that improved the quality of my life. Over the course of about a two year period I was doing all of this and absorbing all the experiences and stories I’d find on this subreddit.

When it came to the subject of single mothers I was adamant that I would never date one, especially when I had read all of these whore stories that other men had been through. Well my advice to you is never be so sure of what you know that you fail to stick to your code and also, don’t underestimate your own weakness and the innate desire that exists within us to reproduce and have a family.

I made that error, wasted a good 8 months of my life all to be cheated on with the baby daddy and be lied to about the nature of many of her friendships with her guy friends, most of whom she had some kind of sexual relationship with at one point or another.

The worst part of dating a single mother though, when you love her, chances are, especially if the kid is young enough and well behaved, you’re probably going to love the child too. So your heart not only gets broken by losing her, but the kid as well. Trust the wisdom of all these stories you read, and when that one single mother comes along and you sit there and start to convince yourself that it’ll work out and things will be great just know you’re only shooting yourself in the foot.

Don’t think that you’re so knowledgeable and informed that it could never happen to you cause temptation is a sneaky bastard, your mind and your will shall be tested. Just don’t bother with women that have kids if you’re going to bother with women at all.

Here’s the brass tacks of dating single mothers. 1. You will never be a priority, ever. 2. The baby daddy is always going to be a factor even if he’s a deadbeat asshole who contributes nothing and will most likely will remain apart of her life for the entirety of your relationship, because when it comes down to it, his presence in her life will be more important than yours and it will be under the excuse it’s for the kid, that fact will sit in your head and always be a vein of suspicion. 3. See rules one and two 4. Your time will never be as important as hers 5. From the moment that relationship begins it’s just a matter of time until you end up heartbroken and bitter. 6. The demands of a relationship with her will pull you away from your hobbies and your goals 7. They will always use the child as an excuse to not spend time with you, but if her friends say let’s go drinking or to the casino magically they find a way to make sure the kid is taken care of. 8. Just don’t do it, there are plenty of other women without kids and emotional baggage that would be much better options for whatever it is that you’re trying to go for.
