Is it really realistic to assume that anyone (except select celebs) can appeal to the masses? Regardless of gender, aren't we only going to truly appeal to a small group of individuals?

For men, how wide of a pool can a so-called 'chad' have? And does a willingness to fuck chad entail a willingness to actually date him? (the latter would feel like a better privilege in the eyes of women at least)

And for women, whilst you can be aware of some guys in your circle taking a fancy to you, how would you be so sure that he'd actually be seriously into you unless you actually dated?

I think what amuses me sometimes is seeing those posts on reddit of people gushing over a select person they're talking to and want to date, yet I can't imagine someone ever doing that over me right now
