Women love Spock

If you ever watched the original Star Trek, you know that Spock is extremely logical and detached, seems to put his rational mind over feelings, and is respectful while still being confident and strong. He’s also a bit awkward by human standards, but it adds to his charm.

So many women were into his character. I posit that’s because he gives the impression that he’s incapable of playing games or being duplicitous. He’s a little too awkward to go around being a player, and he wouldn’t find it logical to lie, so women feel safe with him.

Yet he still has “Chadly” traits like trusting his intellect, being a leader, confident. He’s a truly nice person, but isn’t a niceguy who tries to win sex by sucking up to a woman. That is far from his nature.

Men will describe themselves as rational, but if such a man gets hysterical over women’s behavior, he’s not fully rational. Women are actually drawn to calm and rational men as long as they have a modicum of kindness.

This is what women mean by a nice guy. Respectful, not a deceptive bone in his body, humble, and slightly too awkward to be a good cheater. Women get very excited for men like this. We can get attract to alpha flexers, but without the trust it’s not as safe to let go and fully feel those feelings of attraction.

And men like Spock do end up getting women IRL. He still has leadership traits and takes initiative. Combine that with the feeling of security and it’s amazing. For some reason guys think “be nice” and they think it means dropping those traits.

Another example is the title character in the movie Baby Driver. A little cocky, takes initiative, daring, but ultimately a soft guy who loves his dad and is too socially awkward to be a serial player. A lot of women swoon for that.
