In light of the recent documentary surviving R kelly I’ve noticed how toxic men can be And how familiar some of his tactics are throughout typical male behavior. What was new information and made me fully comprehend why r kelly is free, is that he simply paid the mother of a child NOT to testify. let me get this straight, Some ones child got peed on by a grown man and plastered on the internet and the only reason he is free is because a woman wanted a check ??? Call men all the things you want but not self respecting man would ever let someone get away with that. I believe they call this victim blaming but when you choose to finger point at men and over look the decision making, greed, and morale of women you miss the fact that more and more women are falling victim to the same unimprovised behavior everyday. Women love to say teach men not to rape But what if I don’t trust my daughter around men anyway ? What if no matter what I will always feel like a male might be a threat to her ?? What if when a sexual predator is about to be convicted you teach your woman friends to play their role and make the world safer for other women ??? There will always be bad people but their can always be less victims.
