The way my mom questions others is the equivalent of an aggressive interrogator. I find that the more words I put in my reply, the bitchier she gets, and the conversation drags on.

One time during breakfast with the family, she questions me on an insignificant matter with extra attitude, so I just gave her a short reply with an indifferent look on my face.
