First proper post so bear with me :)

So today I was watching an Assassins Creed video on YouTube (Yes, I like Assassins Creed) and upon scrolling through the comments, I stumbled across this gem:

The assassin is super fucking hot. Men back in these day were REAL men. They were well dressed, polite yet deadly, respectful and protective of women. And the way they handled fights shows the true mark of a man. They don't "talk shit", they kill and walk away.

Granted this is a bit of an extreme example but basically all the RP traits are listed in this sentence:

  • Dressing well
  • Protector stereotype towards women (well built and can hold himself in a fight)
  • Can engage and carry out a conversation (polite, good listener)
  • Getting straight to the point (not "talking shit" and having the will to walk away; not sticking around )
  • And of course good looks, since all the assassins were quite handsome (no homo)

Demonstrating all these traits demonstrates the "true mark of a man" , as boldly stated.

Also, as the games were set in the past during times where feminism was unheard of, males were naturally masculine to a greater extent than today's culture. This brings great irony as without the feminist movement, more men today would act like REAL men, as the hamster preaches.

TLDR: We men are the victims of a feminized culture, and unless we take care of our appearance and behavior, we cannot be seen as real men to women, as stated by the commenter above
