Islam and feminism logical bedfellows? I mean I've thought of myself as a feminist muslim at times but .... you know ... not really.

(Also, replace radical Islam with radical just about anything and you get the same result.)

What? Sure, I agree when it comes to feminism, that's an obvious truth. But how is rising and falling on your own merits antithetic to radical Islam? This doesn't make sense.

You must be out of your mind. Feminists (at least here in America) do not pander to Islam and whatever little they know about it. Only way they would even pay it any attention is if it was white male dominated. That and the fact that most Islamic related female social issues will tend to be on foreign soil and thus not a prerogative.

I mean for crying out loud they probably think Islam literally is the patriarchy.
