Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.

It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

How does TRP view [insert recreational pursuit]?

This question is irritating as fuck every single time it comes up. I understand that you're probably new, maybe you haven't read all the sidebar material - which you should - or if you have read the sidebar, maybe you're having a difficult time wrapping your head around it. But man, in the name of Thor's iron-forged cock, you have got to adjust your thinking.

Do you know what a hobby is? It's something you do, because you like to do it. And there's nothing anyone else should have to say, ever, about that. It's your call.

The more important question is: how big of a role should my hobbies play in my life? Because it isn't about the form your recreation takes, it's about whether you are in control of your body, mind, and mission.

You can forge ahead on the thorny path with determination, and sometimes stop to smell the roses. Or you can get lost in a field of poppies, and occasionally think wistfully of where that path might have led you.

Ahoy there! I like anime, but I've no problem being TRP or holding frame, heck I even tell some of my girls that I watch anime on occasions when they try to text me. It's not sort of a big deal to me, it's mostly entertainment and a way for me to scout for storytelling techniques.

Try watching the original Gundam series and follow the development of Amuro Ray down to Char's Counterattack, you'll see him there acting as beta and growing to full RP. Don't observe just his girls, observe how he lives his life and his fulfills his duty, that's what being TRP is about.

Yeah, I might give this Grisha anime a try.
