Nope. Women always , always have to says something. And if they see you dont give a fuck, they will find a way to pass their message. It get worse as they aged. They become invisible so they go throught great efforts just to get attention.

Gurantee you she will try again. "how come you didnt call me ?" "Didnt see my card ?" And when you rightfully get mad at her, you become the bad man. "Such a rude man, what is wrong with you ?"

And the entire time she will never admit that she did anything wrong.

Yes it stops - ONLY when you present yourself as having no value to them (monetarily). You are 37, more than likely in shape and working on your business. You have either CHAD potential because of looks or you come across as a juicy, prime beta that can be financially exploited.
Do what you want, but since you asked, I'd ignore the hell outta her. In my experience, women only approach a dude when they WANT something from him. When we are younger we think they want sex. They NEVER want sex - even if that's what we receive. They only use sex as a tool for their ULTIMATE agenda - whatever it may be.

I know you're venting - I get it. I have a business and deal more with the constant phone offers for this, that, or the third thing than walk-up solicitation.

As always, good advice for you and I'm sure you'll handle just fine w/o our input. I do my best to remain as stoic as possible, give them no feedback other than disinterest. The extent to which someone provokes emotion in your is the extent to which they can manipulate you.

Patrice O'Neal talks about this re: his g/f or women in general. He calls it 'bear hunting' where he'll piss woman off ('poke the bear'), then apologize and thereby often getting her emotionally invested in him. I can imagine that all the interest you're getting is partially because you're projecting some kind of vibe. It does feel good to get attention, but it is also a helluva drug.

Look at yourself and decide if you're perhaps a bit too emotionally wound-up and could take some chill pills. That goth thing is sorta stereotypically associated with intense / moody / brooding / etc. The kind of guy women want and then seek to control. Just what I recall from hs/college.

Be the grey man. Also, consider adding some cameras to record your biz, put up a clear 'no soliciting' sign, etc. Whatever you can to CYA and increase peace of mind.
