So, I've been dreaming of being something like a feminine homemaker for a while. I am single, in my late 20's. I do believe that due to past trauma I may not be mentally and emotionally capable of a relationship or marriage. However, this is the lifestyle I've been wanting so much. I currently reside with my mother and sister. I feel controlled by them and have no autonomy. I want nothing than to be able to practice being a homemaker and have my own home. Right now, I feel controlled and cannot exercise my desire to be such (ex. everything in the home is done according to my mother's will and habits, which I don't like). If I move out, there might be financial strains on my family but right now I am unhappy and it causes other family members unhappiness too. I feel like I can never move towards my dream living here and it's taking forever. I am Asian so it is not terribly unusual to be living with my parents. There is nothing I want more than to be venturing out. I am currently unemployed and have some health issues but it does not stop me from wanting to live my dream life. I have not voiced my true feeling to my family. I do not wish to be controlled and held back by them. I wish to have stability (my own way) and autonomy, etc. in my life, it is not possible under my current situation, where I feel controlled and worn down by my family. I was just wondering if it's possible to be living the homemaking life single and if I should tell them that I want to venture out and live in my own place.
Hope that makes sense and thank you all for your kind help.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
