“Kind of” cold number close. This is a huge thing for me.

Background: 23/M/Ethnic(Indian) currently at a US University (Master’s program)

So I met this cute Vietnamese chick 3 weeks back and made small talk with her. She was very receptive and was talking non-stop.

Today, we sat next to each other on the bus. I started to talk to her. She remembered me. We were talking about school. She had mentioned that she majors in arts. I brought up about the art museum in our school.

Me: “So, have you been to the art museum?”

Her: “ No, I haven’t. I always pass by it. But never have been there.”

Me: “You know what? We should go there today. How about at 1”

Her: “ I have lots of assignments to complete”

Me: ignore what she said talk about a state park near our house

Art museum comes up again in our conversation.

Me: “Let’s see what the museum is like. It should be fun. You have time before class(Persuade with a reason)”

Her: “ Okayyyyy. Let’s go”

So we get out of the bus and go straight to the museum. A but of kino here and there. I touch her gently while making hand gestures.

We make fun of the art in the museum. When she tells a joke, I sometimes soft fist bump on her shoulder/arm.

I always lead her in the museum. When I’m done with a painting and move to the next, she moves to what I’m seeing too. (kind of a compliance test?).

I whispered into her ear sometimes.

I pointed at one painting. “It looks like an oyester”

She: “Are you hungry? Haha.”

Me: “I’m famished. Have you had lunch?”

She: “I had. But, there’s a Café downstairs. Let’s have something afterwards.”

We go to a different Café outside and have fries. She tells me about the baking skills and shows me photos of her cakes/pastries and what not. I told her that they look delicious and that she should call me the next time she bakes.

Then, Me: “Let me get your number”

She: “Sure.”

we exchange numbers

Then I said I have work and that I have to go. She walked with me till we parted.

tl;dr Met cute chick for the second time - went on a date to the art museum - had fries at a local cafe - got her number
