I know we are all aware of the various stages of TRP journey, from anger to acceptance, I'm just trying to see if others can relate/offer advice.

Ive been "digesting" (mental masturbation) the content for a while, and only finally a few months ago did everything feel like it clicked. While I had been doing some workouts in my work gym and jiu-jitsu for a while, I finally a few weeks ago got a membership to a real gym and made active steps to try and go out with the express intent of gaming.

What kicked this post off is my parents bringing up online dating recently. Of course they're trying to help in their way since my brother is married, and I'm not bothered in that sense since I don't want anything serious for a while; I want to slay. But for whatever reason that kind of triggered a "hopeless" reaction. While I don't want a serious relationship, even if I did want one, I have no plates or prospects, I still feel skinny fat, it's hard to find a wing who actually wants to go out and game since my usual friends are mostly in relationships, and I've asked around but no one seems to know a good day game high traffic area in my city.

We're all getting older, how did you guys get past this feeling. Like, if you've been bad with women, never been ripped, and have (in my case) 15ish years of lived experience where those two truths have never changed and trying to change your whole mindset. How did you motivate yourself in that phase where you're trying hard to change, yet your body and social calendar have not caught up. Where you're doing all this work for no visible return.
