Lately, I have been approaching girls more frequently with varying levels of success. At the same time, I have been talking to strangers on a daily basis to practice keeping the flow of coversations. So, today I was riding the bus back to the university. On one of the stops, a gorgeous blonde girl with green eyes sits beside me. A minute later, I ask her about where the bus stops in the university. After that, the coversation flows naturally though sometimes i was asking interview-like questions: how arr the finals, what are the plans for the holidays etc. . Fast forward we reach the bus stop, I ask her: "Can I have your number?" She smiles and says no. She takes off after that and wishes me a good day. I can attribute the rejection to three reasons sorted by order of importance:
- I was not in any way appealing to her.
- She was not comfortable giving her number to a stranger that she met 5 minutes ago.
- She said no because of my religious affiliation (my name) Either way, I just wanted to share my experience with you my fellow red pillers. I feel so relieved that I approached despite the rejection.
