Is the attainment of power a noble pursuit?

Of course it is LOL. Are you trying to be Buddha or something? Even if you engage in nihilism, attaining power isnt going to make you worse off than not having power. Power gives you more leverage to achieve whatever you want, be it noble goals or not.

But what is power? Power could come in soft power, your social status among friends family colleagues acquaintances or society in general. It can come from you being a good speaker, an influencer (not Instagram slut influencer), or someone who has contributed alot to society or a subject matter expert.

Or you could have authoritarian power in your company as a top brass, in politics, in military, or just dirt rich to make a difference in the world. Or just super strong and a master fighter in less civilised places.

Having such powers doesn't make you more noble or less. Power is a tool. It's amoral. You could do noble things with it. You could choose not to. You could choose to do toxic things.

It will not 100% always make u feel MORE fulfilled, but not having any at all will always make you less fulfilled for sure.

Bring in marslow hierarchy and you will see how. You have a lack of financial power and you live barely scrapping by, you do not have enough to eat or put a shelter above your head, how are you going to be fulfilled? Unless you gonna be Buddha and fly to the heavens or something (mind you Buddha was a Prince, he had the luxury to contemplate life to become enlightened and not die in the slums impoverished at 3 years old)

Define "noble" and "virtuous".

Realize that these words are the epitome of bluepill programming, because they tell you to place the goals of society above your own.

money and power are just mere tools, not evil or good or noble or anything. there has been people who did good things with power, bad things with power and just things with power. at the end of the day its up to you.

use whatever power and money you can get to further your goals and values, thats my point of view, which i always try to keep pragmatic or practical or whatever it is called in english

It's innate to every man. One of society great project is to actively regulate this drive, otherwise it will consume society itself. The feminine imperative is one mechanism trough which man's ambition and thirst for power is kept in check. Not seeing the pursuit of power as noble is the manifestation in your mind of an intense conditionment effort aimed at exactly that.
