I've caught a bit of oneitis and can't seem to shake it off. For the past 3 years I've been in University I've had great success with women. Especially this past fall where I'd have a couple women over a week, life was good, I was shredded, living life to the max and just having a great time. Then I broke my hand playing basketball and everything came crashing down. I had lost my gains that I had worked so hard for, losing weight quick and fell into quite a bit of depression. At the tail end of this period, I met a girl and caught an interest pretty quick. She's a bartender (should've been a red flag from the start) in our college town and I felt like we hit it off. Went out a date, kino'd the whole night, made out and just clicked. From that point forward, she'd flirt and also disconnect herself at the same time. Christmas break came and the only communication we had was by text or snap and I honestly felt like I was talking to a brick wall 95% of the time.
I was plating other girls around this time but this girl kept making her way into my mind and I couldn't shake it. I went no contact with her for a while and she'd continue to snap me a selfie or two everyday despite me leaving her on open. The more distance I created, the more she'd come on to me, random compliments, messages, etc. We get back to school (this was two days ago) and I made the mistake of getting extremely drunk one night and telling her that she was confusing. To which she told me that I was the one playing games, always leaving her on open, only hitting her up when I'm drunk (which is a lie), etc etc. Last night, she kept telling me to come see her at the bar she worked at. She ended up getting off early and went out to the bars with some of her friends. We ended up at the same bar and I asked her where she was in the bar. She replied "inside" to which I asked where specifically. Left on open, no response. She texted me at 3 am or so saying her phone died; didn't respond. She snapped me this afternoon; didn't respond either.
She posted stories after she didn't reply to my message so I knew the whole "my phone died" line was BS. She was a bit flakey before Christmas break and now shes at it again. At this point I know I gotta move on and just plate other girls and get back to my hobbies but what went wrong? Over Christmas break, she was talking about us hanging out when we got back & how I need to hang out with her more to really get to know her "wild" side, wanted to see me more, do stuff etc. & now shes gone cold again and lately its been like talking to a brick wall.
I guess part of me is craving a legit connection with someone. Spinning plates for so long made me feel a little empty at times and this is where I am now, catching oneitis again (haven't done that shit since high school). Where do I go from here and what should I do to start feeling like my old self again?
