You can approach 7s and below because you view yourself as "better" than them. You can't do the same with 8+s because they scare the fuck out of you.

Just remember that they are the same as ugly women. They bleed, they shit, they have morning breath and self-esteem issues.

What used to help me talk to pretty girls when I was your age, (and this is going to sound crazy, but it worked for me. YMMV) was to imagine them on a toilet taking a smelly dump. Or imagine that they have a yeast infection and have a really smelly snatch. It humanizes them and slaps them right off the pedestal and when you can imagine them in embarrassing situations, it makes them more approachable. Kind of how they tell people that have trouble with public speaking to imagine the audience naked.

Again, this worked for me when I was young, and I still mentally do it today when I am talking to a really hot chick. When you imagine them pushing out a huge turd, or slathering their tuna holes with cunt cream, they can sense that you're not into them, and maybe a teeny bit repulsed. It makes them curious, because they are used to men throwing themselves at them. They will usually try to figure you out. It's a simple, easy way to add mystery - just remind yourself how GROSS women can be.
