Long story short.
Married 1 year. We fight often, and constantly (verbal... until she decide she wants to push me). But this time was different. Full disclosure: she’s on her period.. I’m not making excuses for her but it might explain some of the anger.
So recently we celebrated our 1st anniversary in Miami. It was my treat. We promised no matter what to be good to each other and to uphold our duties even when we’re upset. I say this because we’ve been fighting ALOT (arguments and petty ish). She agrees and we have a good time. We comeback. We are still on great terms except for the extreme pain she’s in from the cramps.
Everything went well until yesterday. I ran to the store after she asked me to grab something. I said okay. When I came back she prepared dinner for me and apologized she didn’t make things they way I wanted.. I said it was okay and ate. Afterwards, she asked if I could vacuum.. I told her my leg hurts and I wouldn’t do it. She got up after I ate and started cleaning. I tried to help out but she yelled in my face to leave her alone.
Little back-story: she has a problem with cussing.
So after cleaning the area, and mind you it’s from the mess SHE made, she tells me how I’m a piece of ish multiple times.. and how I “do absolutely nothing around the house”. I calmly walk away and go into the room. I then go to a friends house to cool off and she starts cleaning the kitchen. After I come back. She comes into the room and points to the trash and tells me to go “throw it away right now!” and that I never help around the house — which is a lie — I told her I would but not when she’s forcing me... she then goes ballistic.
She follows after me.. like she always does and continues screaming... it’s like 12 am at this moment and we have neighbors and paper thin walls. She hits me, , I block her strikes and then she hits harder. But this time I hold her and put her on the bed.
Literally she goes even crazier. Smacks me, throws class cups at me, scratches me. Full blown crazy.
We wrestle because she literally would have poked my eye out if I didn’t push her away or hold her in defense.
She then tells me.. to throw the trash away again... what do you think happens next?
Cops come.. ask if everything is okay. Obviously I say yes because I don’t want her to go to jail. But I’m super disgusted.... I found out later she threw all of my clothes on the floor and put some in the toilet.
What the literal hell is this??
She’s been apologizing profusely since last night and this morning.. I just don’t know how to forgive her. This is crazy. She asked if she was “bipolar or crazy”.
Someone please help. Also, her parents and my parents know we constantly argue.
