We’re in our early 20’s in a friend group at university. She’s been with this guy who lives an hour away for about 6 months and she used to act like he isn’t the most impressive dude. At our Christmas party when we had too much to drink we made out for an hour in front of our friends haha. Then she started texting me daily. We had another night out with drinks recently and we flirted a ton, she said she really admires me, and she kissed my neck before leaving. We keep talking a lot and texting but she casually mentions her boyfriend every now and then (I don’t react at all).

So I know she has high interest in me, but she doesn’t act like she’s going to break up anytime soon. Wtf can I do to get with her? I don’t wanna be turned down if I go for her physically, and I doubt talking to her about dumping her guy or having an open relationship would work.

So far I’m playing it cool and hoping things magically fall apart between them. Is that all I can do?

Also, how should I react (if at all) when she mentions her bf? Should I eventually state that I want her to break up with him?
