Misleading. What income is this data based off? Canada and the US have numerous tax brackets, numerous other taxes, and many more tax writeoffs. My "income tax" on 40k a year is approximately 20%. That don't include all the other taxes.

And how the US is ranked worse than Canada seems suspicious. Based on California's income taxes?
