I'm a 24 year old male who's beginning an intimate relationship with a 19 year old. The maturity gap is obvious to me. Are there any resources on how to connect to her better?

You don't connect with a women, it's not possible in any meaningful way so stop trying to do it. Men and women think, act and behave differently and thus any "connection" will be purely situational and will last until the situation changes.

Stop having conversations on the phone, stop trying to relate, she exists only to make you happy if she's not doing that then she shouldn't exist in your world. To her, you don't matter unless you've become sexually intimate, which it's obvious you haven't. Initiate sexual intimacy, then be prepared when she latches on. When that happens you need to maintain rock solid frame regardless of how often she whines. You will never convince her to see things your way, you will never convince her that she's being too clingy or demanding or whatever she'll do in an attempt to acquire control. Instead you laugh, pet her hair and smack her on the ass while continuing to do exactly what you were going to do anyway.
