I work in a company I hate, I don't want to lose this job due to the ongoing pandemic. At my workplace, I deal with this asshole manager and I often got treated like shit, So I made a complaint about his attitude to the HR department,

Now I'm so confused because there were times when he helped me, where he saw me as a brother but most of the time he was an asshole.

Should I let my emotions decide whether should I go easy on him, or stand up for myself for the wrongdoings he did to me?
