So I was mumbling around the internet feeling melancholic when stumbled into this WW2 quote on wikipedia:

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
     Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
     Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
     Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

This quote got me thinking, can it be applied to my, and possibly our, situation as MGTOWs nowadays? I know there's no clear equivalent comparison here (at least not that I can see or express exactly) but considering how we are, in a way, secluding ourselves, doing more or less our own thing not actively spreading our message in a active way, could we end in a situation similar to whoever coined the quote above?

Could we, in a hypothetical scenario where censorship and culture grows to an level where we become silence, end up alone against an entire world that will persecute us? If so, what would happen? What would we do? Would we end up organizing together? Or would be simply picked off one by one harmlessly because we are secluded and going our own way alone? After all, there is no one speaking out for us right now, or at least, no one on mainstream channels or official positions, so what gives? What are the odds?

I'm feeling philosophical today and this thought is scaring me. Can someone help me understand?
