Education has no bearing on intelligence.

There are people who have college degrees who are dumb as a post. Just look at the politicians who couldn't put together a coherent thought to save their life.

Also, a lot of education is brainwashing. Just regurgitate the proper political viewpoint and you're passing the class, no problem.

Look at the kid who wrote "black lives matter" 100x in his Stanford application and got accepted. He's probably graduated and just acting like a left wing parrot.

A lot of people who are actually INTELLIGENT can reason and use logic.

The left just repeats their brainwashed political views like parrots, and do not use logic and reason.

I think this has to do with alot of things, first and foremost the total indoctrination of western universities with leftist doctrines, for example diversity hires, female quotas, and extreme sexual harresment policies (if I was a teacher I would never be alone with a female student). Second alot of smart people in their field do not have the time and or energy to dig into the polictical landscape. Therefore they just accept the left leaning progaganda pushed, simply because they have no time and effort to look into it (or mabye just accept it as something and not willing to go into battle for something they do not really care about). And third, most of the social sciences are domminated by women, so its logical alot of things are comming for that pushing an agenda. Just think about if you are a mathematical phd student, are you really gonna argue with a socio science phd student saying that we need x or y for it to be socially vaild. Probably not you have other things to worry about.

Then for the people who actually embrace these ideas and push them forward, if they are men they are in general just following the females for validation or mabye sex or attention. If they are female, they are in general following the hive mind. There is nothing worse for a female (especially in university) than be regarded against feminism.

Contemporary education is dogma, it's what to think and not how to think. In order to advance in the ranks of education (high school, bachelors, masters, Ph.D.) you must conform to their dogma. Any deviation, any disagreement with dogma and you won't be allowed to advance to the next level. Also the more time you spend cocooned in the ivory towers the less time you spend exposed to reality, out in the real world where no one cares about your feelings. That's why our over educated 'Elites' are so dogmatically lefty.

When an organism evolves, its success isn't determined by how smart it is, it's determined by its ability to reproduce in the environment it finds itself in.

In terms of human intelligence, we're in a position where a lot of humans believe they're intelligent just because they've learned a hunch of facts (or what they believe to be facts) and repeat those facts back to people.

This reciting of facts doesn't make one intelligent. However, whether they are actually intelligent or not is not the point. The point is that intelligence by itself means nothing when it comes to the existence of one's own species.

The great filter comes for us all and it looks like humanity won't pass this next one.
