Virtually all of them are their own worst enemies, but they've got perpetual blinders on because they've been trained to project every flaw and failing onto the other side of the aisle; if you emotionally divorce yourself from the shit they cause nationwide, the comedy of errors they represent is astonishingly entertaining.

I mean, the whole CHAZ situation should've been a massive wake-up call as to how the distillation of their beliefs simply doesn't work, and that the worst possible thing that could happen is if they actually got what they wanted, because for a month and a half the people in Seattle essentially had carte blanche, and what immediately emerged was that you might as well have transplanted the same number of blocks from any part of Mogadishu, and you'd have gotten the same result. You literally had a warlord passing around guns to an inner circle that then immediately started oppressing the people there; we'll never know how many rapes happened, but I'd love to see stats created by some omniscient being as to how many women went in, lived there, and then got out without some form of overt sexual assault taking place. Best part is that most of them probably were so fucked up to begin with that they somehow rationalized it in their heads as somehow 'giving back to the revolution'. In times of war and uncertainty, women caught in such situations will always do the same thing: trade 'comfort' for security.
