So I've always been an auto mechanic and hands-on person who fixes everything. I take a lot of pride in what I do, I take on many types of jobs, am independent/self-employed, and I like learning. The problem is I never considered this a "passion" because, even though I enjoy it at times and am good it, I never considered it "sexy" like the sort of career a woman would find attractive. Like I should be striving for more. I never thought of hands-on stuff as something that women find appealing as far as a man's career/hobbies go. Is this just media indoctrination? I've always been under the impression a guy has to be a doctor, lawyer, rich actor, business man, or something prestigious basically to give women that sense of spark. Is it possible that even "lowly" work can be attractive to a woman as long as the guy is passionate about what he does?
