i was voluntary single (single not celibate) for 8 years.
got involved in a ltr and let her convince me that "settling down" (see: be more beta) was "better" for our relationship than my "alpha" ways.
I didn't know i was behaving alpha, it just came natural. thats what attracted her to me in the first place. i didn't know all of this until 8 months ago when a friend introduced me to trp (ill get to that shortly). little by little i was whittled down over a year and a half period, to the point that she lost respect for me and we broke up.
we didn't just break up, she tried to have me orbit, fortunately a friend had seen what was going on and introduced me to this sub. it saved what little dignity I had left, I intentionally withdrew my beta behavior (little by little) until our "relationship" was her being a plate trying to get me to continue being beta, striving to hold on to beta bux.
this didn't work out for her, she tried dread game and it backfired. i reminded her that my smv is higher than hers, that i didn't need her, and that i could (and intended to) do better.
don't let her "calm you down" or "settle" you in any way. its a shit test, compliance with her wishes is FAILURE, and she will see you as weak for it.
maintain your abundance state of mind, avoid oneitis, and never cave to their demands.
edit: formatting
edit2: forgot to mention, we were both late 30s, now she rides the cc of older less attractive men and over the past several months I've been sleeping with 22-30yo women. she gets old, hardly working dick and tries to get $, i get better quality poon with less investment because younger women just want to "have fun". win for me

Yeah the reason why they remain single past 40...

^ exactly, so why not take advantage of it while they are young and attractive?

Thank you for that, I definitely need to remember my smv relative to hers....especially the fact that I'm 26.

ank you for that, I definitely need to remember my smv relative to hers....especially the fact
hypergamy is very real. if they see a higher value they will inevitably attempt to swing that way. if she views you as lower than her its a recipe for disaster. age matters less than how they perceive your income/stability/looks (not necessarily in that order).
This seems to be especially true in older single mothers, they are always looking for the best provider.
younger women care more about "cool factor" than provisions. keep yourself attractive to them by remaining spontaneous and "fun", do epic shit. having a good paying job does help but not as much as being the "bad boy".

Small tasks
Women are generally socialized to think of how their actions affect others first, which is why they are so goddamn difficult when it comes to making a decision. They're often hesitant to affect someone else negatively.
For example a general social situation, the restaurant choice:
B: Where do you want to eat? has internal ideas about what they want to eat, but doesn't want to impose
G: Oh, I don't know, whatever you like. has internal ideas about what they want to eat, but doesn't want to impose
B: How about place X?
G: No, I don't really want to eat there. doesn't want to impose, but doesn't want to eat there either.
Choosing a restaurant places the responsibility on the one who chooses and women hate responsibility (because they don't want to affect someone else negatively). We all should know how to deal with that but this should just be a small example to understand what I mean, woman constantly want to please their peers.
So when there is a situation where she could think that she didn't please you enough you must give her the chance to please you.
For example: I am out with my girl, she meets friends and has to talk with them, she comes back and excuses her self for the interruption and that she couldn't focus her attention on me. Then I will just ask her for a beer, now a smile will light up in her face and she will be happy to obligate. (I never see her run that fast). The Ben Frankling effect is another benefit to this.
DanG3 quote:
Most women want to please the man they are into. But it is the PROCESS of attracting and pleasing the Man that is exciting and pleasing to THEM. When a man puts a woman on a pedistal it is annoying and frustrating for her because it deprives her of the opportunity (as "Barbie" put it) to "work for it."
*Disagree and minify *
Showing authority is the heart of handling shit tests. Nearly everything in game is based around authority/respect/admiration.
I find myself more often disagreeing and amplifying or minifying shit tests I get. It works great and brings in more diversity to your behavior. Disagreeing and minifying is just another application of amused mastery, you are treating them like they're a fun subordinate to toy with.
────────
G: "You never want to go traveling with me"
M: "I will never leave this house! Traveling sucks, who wants to waste his time on a white beach?"
G: “Sometimes you can be such an asshole. My ex knew how to treat a lady.”
M: "No I know exactly how to treat a lady, tomorrow I will take you out to mc donalds"
G: "Do you love me?"
M: "No!, how could someone love this (point at her tits/poke her belly)"
G: "Am I important to you?"
M: "Not more than the dust under my shoes"
G: "Did you miss me?"
M: "Yea, like a hole in the head"
This example has been brought to you by Scottishredpill.
TL;DR: Disagree & minify/amplify works just as good as agree & amplify

That is bad ass, I have never heard that term before but I like it. Love the restaurant choice breakdown too that shit drives me crazy but what you said makes a ton of sense.

Good idea. I could use this too.

I found that 99% of my frame slips in the LTR were when I was weak (job stress, illness). I wanted to lean on my SO for support and reveal my vulnerability so she could sooth me. This is a mistake. Don't be tempted. An SO is not your mother. Lean on another man or your religion for support, never a SO.
Also relatedly, the assistant paradigm is accurate. Women want to be used so they know they are part of your life. I say "used" because women get tingles from respect. Respect comes from asymmetry; you must be "better" than her to gain respect. Asymmetry comes from receiving more than you give. So use your SO as an assistant, do not join her as a partner. Visualize yourself as the body, and her as a trusted arm of your will. You love your arm, so you will do it no harm, but if it is poisoned you will cut it off to live. She will tell you she hates being treated this way, but as TRP says "judge women by actions not words" ... she will be loving, happy, and faithful in this situation.
