Yes. Sadly, often "no" means "try harder". But, of course, men are expected to read minds and know which one it is.

This is actually funny when it gets involved in the whole consent issue.

Yes, of course, women have agency and can say no to anything they do not want and men have to accept that. But it's quite hard to have this duality of sometimes no means no, but often no means try harder.

What makes it funny is the result of all the campaigning about "no means no". Suddenly women are found complaining about getting what they ask for. "Noooo. We meant the ugly guys, just the ugly guys leave us alone. Hot guys should still be trying to get with us even if we say no because we want to be chased by the hot guuuuys!"

They really are like children.
