u/where_muh_good_mens, how do you think this post should be titled? The current title is good and serves as a warning for men. But because OP appears to be a woman, I think the title should expose this tip's flaw for women who heed this advice. So something like:

LPT: Women, don't judge your "market value" as a romantic partner during your teens/twenties. Feel free to ride the carousel because women over 30 have NO problems finding quality men who would pick them over younger, hotter women.
LPT: Women, don't judge your "market value" as a romantic partner during your teens/twenties. If you chose some jerk to have kids with and he abandons you, don't worry because single moms have NO problems finding quality men to raise another man's kids.
