I’m in my early 20s and am seeing a girl about to turn 20. She’s one of the Zoomer generation kids and uses tons of social media. Recently she showed me a tweet of her ex boyfriend who may be potentially taking a dig at me. Mind you this kid is 19 years old. I’ve grown up doing amateur boxing so for me this is a non threat. However, what’s the best way to proceed here? Confront the guy? Ignore it?

I just feel like if I do nothing it will bug me for the rest of the relationship. I tried to let it go but it keeps creeping up on my mind. I don’t know him, never seen him, just seen his social media handles. Looks like a naive kid that hasn’t seen the real world so I want to give it a pass.

What would you guys do?
