After spending a somewhat embarrassing amount of time on red pill spaces, it’s obvious that a shit ton of men were completely in the dark about now attraction works. I mean they call learning about what they consider hypergamy a “harsh awakening” and go on about how they were lied to about how women “work”. I’ve even seen a LOT of guys say that they had no idea that looks were important!
I can’t help but wonder if we lived on entirely different planets. If hypergamy can be defined as going for the best person you can get and/or wanting someone better than yourself.... isn’t that just... common sense? I mean, are men not that way? Why would anyone settle for someone they can get better than? Why would anyone settle at all? Don’t we all want the best we can get of everything? I mean, why wouldn’t we? It just makes sense! And why would we want someone beneath ourselves? Sure the same level would be fine and dandy but I think we’d all enjoy someone we can look up to and learn from and deeply admire (and enjoy looking at lol). And this brings me to looks. Are you really saying that you could never have imagined that women are attracted to... attractiveness? Have you never gone to school and had all the girls crushing on the cute boy? Have you never seen how CRAZY girls go over not male celebs? Hell... have you never seen a hot male? I can’t imagine how you might not have seen a tall good looking guy and thought “oh he must get tons of girls”. He’s HOT! Of course he does!
If this applies to you (and it seems to apply to the majority of men in these spaces), would you please enlighten me?

What is that? Is there a way I can phrase it differently?
