Lately me and this girl I work with have been arguing a lot. We got into an argument today and she commented "Why didn't you reach out to talk to ____ to get an answer? Is it because you don't think she's smart enough since she's a woman?". Well now I know that she probably thinks I'm just a misogynist asshole after I heard her say that. Every time I try to distance myself or get away we end up having to deal with each other for something. I never initiate contact with her, I never validate her and I do treat her pretty shitty even considering that she's a co worker but I don't really care because I know the owner of the company. He knows about us arguing too and he's even encouraged me to be a little bit more nice about things with her but I'm just too much of a straight forward no bullshit kind of guy.

When I met her a year ago she was really cool and the attraction was without a doubt there. I asked her out and found out she was bisexual and had a girlfriend at the time. They eventually broke up in the fall time and I asked her out again but she didn't necessarily say no or yes to my advances. Even up to this day she still gives me signs of attraction and that she likes me but for the most part we only deal with each other for work related stuff so I don't really care anymore but I know that deep down she still wants me.

I'm 100% certain that she has never dealt with a guy who exhibits this kind of behavior and her hamster wheel in her brain is definitely running but I genuinely do like her and want to date her. I guess I've been too much of an asshole to her. Is the fact that I've been arguing with her so much maybe a positive thing in that it's sparking her emotions and gets her thinking about me? The arguments usually stem from me being an asshole. It's tough working so closely with someone in a situation like this.

How should I go about things from here?
