You don't need a girl ever. You might need to socialize to keep things in check. You might even need a sexual release every now and again. But you never need a woman "or else you'll go crazy". Hell, thats the easiest way to go crazy.

this does not belong in this sub, maybe ask TRP or something like that. Anyways you're 16. I lost my virginity at 21, and was subsequently friendzoned by her due to my BP behaviour. I didn't have my first date until 22, and first girlfriend until 23. I never understood why, since I always excelled in school, was tall, not terribly ugly (but not in shape until I started lifting at 21), but in retrospect it's because I was fucking beta as fuck. I was raised by my mother, and that'll make anyone fucking beta.

What worked then absolutely IS obsolete now, because women used to be taught that having someone who treats you nice is better than the bad boy. Nowadays they learn it, through getting burned repeatedly. And by the time they learn it we're no longer interested in them. It used to be a favorable exchange: the woman gives the man her youth, and in turn he provides for her in the long run. Now the women give their youth to chad, and the betas provide for her and receive nothing in return. If you want an old school relationship you have to be an alpha, simple as that.

Just focus on doing things you enjoy, building yourself up and you'll be fine. You're very young, I wish I found out this shit when I was 16, or 14, or 10.

I bumped into Redpill earlier this year at 15. I tried it but would always revert to my old ways.

I had both parents in the house. Although there were issues were I would spend one year with my mom and one with my grandma and few more with my dad being home periodically due to contract work. They're both home now.

My dad says take no shit from women.

my dad never took any shit from women either, but he worked so much he never taught me that. I would see him not take any shit, but then my mom would brainwash me into thinking he's an asshole, and how he's exactly how I shouldn't behave. And I was naive enough to believe it.

You don't need a girl, but having a girl changes things for you. Getting laid regularly and interacting with women regularly does generally make a guy better adjusted and mentally healthier. It lowers stress and takes away a lot of the antagonism you may feel about the opposite sex.

Don't get me wrong, this sub is great, and most of it is truth, but be careful reading too much here. Much of the conversation here tends to reflect negatively on women, mostly to counteract the pedestalization of women in society. You'll get a heavy doses of 'don't date this type of woman, don't date that type of woman.' You're young. As long as you don't get anyone pregnant or contract any diseases, you might want to focus on having fun. Think about doing activities that will put you in contact with more women.

The worst self improvement advice comes from family unfortunately. Out of all my family, only my Grandfather who fought in Korea and Nam gave me solid advice. All the rest was, you'll find the perfect girl and lock her down. You need to keep being a nice guy.
