Been making friends with new high-value guys lately. They mainly all are under 10% bf and deadlift over 2x bodyweight. All single, would never get attached enough for a relationship. I just got sick of being the leader of my friend group and wanted to be around people who made shit easier. Call me beta but leading a group of guys with beta characteristics is exhausting and I don't enjoy it. Old friend group is a bunch of good guys who sometimes lift, often don't, honest, work long hours making $40-100k a year, get attached to girls, do simp shit for them, are in a hurry to get married (mid 20s), bought or trying to buy a house in a small town, settle down, etc. Pretty much the opposite of me but we've been friends for 10-15 years so there's solid trust there.

I wasn't planning on replacing my old friends, but just adding more people to my circle who I want to surround myself with and level up with but some of my old friends shame me for hanging with "those guys" - wtf do I do? Do I have to choose? Keep the friend groups separate?
