Every night when my dad goes to bed he tells my mum to ‘shut up’ for snoring every-time she snores. My mum can’t do anything about it to stop it without interference of some other form of method such as choosing to get some pills that help or something like a mask to prevent the sound of snoring. As you all know it is a natural occurrence at an older age its not like she’s doing it purposely and she doesn’t stand up for herself. Tonight he just had another go at my mum for snoring in an outburst and obviously I can hear it and it makes me very uncomfortable effecting my mental health. I know my dad has bipolar but what should I do? Do I get involved? What is the best way to resolve this problem? Does anybody else have this problem?

The obvious one would be to move out which I am in September. At the same time though this will still go on when I’m not here and it makes me sad.

He will probably forget about it in the morning or act as if it never happened again but this is a re-occurring situation and I need some help.
