And to clarify, I don't look for these articles. They pop up on my Firefox home page.

And as expected it is heavily biased. It accuses society of being sexist but the focus is on how sexist it is against girls and not on how, for instance, boys are expected to open doors for girls, how they're supposed to step aside as girls get saved before them in a fire, how a boy can get slapped by a girl and he has to take it because boys don't hit girls, on how it's pretty much acceptable to girls to use their body to get stuff, on how men are still expected to pay for dates and drinks, on how men are still expected to pay some sort of dowry or brideprice by buying women engagement rings and having to suck up to her family by taking her parents out for dinner, on how even today in 2020 women will objectify men who are hunky and chiseled and ignore or feel contempt for unmanly looking men, etc.

Oh, and this is the author. Nothing screams "gender roles" like a freaking columnist working from home while hubby is working his ass off at the office. Assuming of course she's actually married with kids
