I have a friend who used to date a girl for about 4 years and was close to obsessed with her. Lost a bunch of his friends, stopped having fun and she didn’t even let him hang out with other girls.

About a year back, while he is off on an island working on a resort, to make something of himself, she leaves him because she found someone she found more attractive while she was in college. Turns out chadster doesn’t like to commit and leaves that ungrateful hoe hanging.

Swing around to the present and her family is forcing her to look at guys and get married (arranged marriage is a thing here). She frantically calls my friend and tells her that she needs him back in her life and is going to tell her family that she’s dating him so she can avoid marriage. Says she’s sorry for what she’s done and will do anything to get him back. Lol think what happens if they got married and she finds someone attractive at work.

My stupid friend was almost going to go along with it and I had to convince him not to ruin his life for someone so ungrateful and work hard to build something for himself instead of destroying the life he has been trying to build. Told him that our early 20s are to build and not to waste on this emotional garbage. I think he’s listening to reason and not going to try and be Captain Save-a-hoe.
