First time posting guys, but I have to admit about a year or two ago, I was probably one of the biggest simps out there. I look back at my life and realize I was pretty pathetic, I probably already knew that back then but suppressed it. After going through a very toxic relationship, one where I felt less of a man than I already was. I learned a few things and this sub has taught me some things too. I used to put women on pedestals. I was raised primarily by my mother and step father. Was raised to respect women and treat them like queens no matter what. During that toxic relationship I did just that, but no matter what everything I did was wrong and everything she did was different even if it was the same. I felt castrated, lost and unhappy. I really don’t think relationships benefit men at all, it’s all about making the woman happy. I’m glad I got out when I did and am turning my life around and focusing on my hobbies and hopefully a career. I just want to thank you guys, and look forward to what my life will become.
