Yeah those jackoffs don’t know what they want. A new computer language is just a matter of figuring out ya base API, what standard libraries you use, and any weird memory management issues. It’s like a month.

I get catfished in IT field way often in other fields. During interview it states I do 70% IT adhoc and "little" QA on the side. Once I'm in it's 90%QA 10% customer training.
